Presidents’ Day Work Party - Cancelled as of 2/11/10

February 12–15 (Friday dinner – Monday breakfast) Come and participate in the first work party of the new year as camp is coaxed out of its slumber and preparations are made for the spring and summer programs that lie ahead. Pruning the fruit trees is a top priority.

Spring Cleaning Weekend

March 12-14 (Friday dinner - Sunday breakfast) We invite you to join us in beginning this labor of love at a special late-winter work party and wage a campaign again dust and grime.  The size of this group will be limited to as many as we can accommodate in the Round House.john-roberts-kitchen

Easter Work Party

April 2–5 (Friday dinner – Monday breakfast) Join us as we greet the emergence of spring with gardening, cooking, cleaning, and various maintenance projects. This is a fun and popular work party.

Memorial Day Work Party

May 28–31 (Friday dinner – Monday breakfast) Come enjoy the final spring work party. Finishing building projects, gardening, and readying the cabins for the summer season are the focus of this event. Bring your shorts, campfire songs, and dazzling bocce ball tosses but we suggest leaving your car on the mainland – we’ll pick you up! Click here for information on transportation and ridesharing.

Labor Day Work Party

September 3–6 (Friday dinner – Monday breakfast) Come to Indralaya for this fun end-of-summer weekend of gardening, cooking, wood gathering, and more, followed by relaxing evenings by the fire. If they’re ripe, we will harvest the plums!

Fall Harvest Work Party

October 8–11 (Friday dinner – Monday breakfast) Come help in the picking, slicing, dicing, drying, juicing, saucing, and freezing of apples as we harvest the orchard. As always, there will be a wide variety of other projects to participate in as well. This is Indralaya’s most popular work party.

End-of-Season Work Party

November 5–7 (Friday dinner – Sunday lunch) Late fall is an excellent time to visit Indralaya and observe the forces of nature at work. The focus of this quieter work party is on preparing the camp for the upcoming winter.
