Taijiquan: Splashing in the Substance of Spirit

September 15–19 (Wednesday dinner – Sunday lunch) Turning to Spirit for inspiration, for guidance and for healing is the essence of all the sacred traditions. But Spirit can be an elusive teacher. It is, by its nature, tai-chi-riverinsubstantial, ineffable.
Or is it? In this workshop, we will use movement, silence, attunement, and deep listening to open our senses to the substance of the Spirit indwelling in each one of us and all of life.
Using the slow, fluid movements of Guang Ping Yang taijiquan as our foundation, we will begin to engage our familiar world from a different perspective—with the new eyes of wonder. Then we’ll go exploring the substance of Spirit in the Indralaya garden, in the forest, and in each other’s faces.
Note that this program begins on Wednesday. It is not necessary to have had prior experience with taijiquan.colin-b1
