Whether you seek serenity or kinship, tranquil quiet, or the challenge of personal inner exploration, we invite you to experience Indralaya.

Located on Orcas Island, in the San Juan Islands of Washington state, Indralaya is a sanctuary of natural beauty composed of 78 acres of forest, meadows, and trails situated along 3/4 of a mile of shoreline. Founded in 1927 by members of the Theosophical Society as an ongoing experiment in theosophical living, Indralaya encourages visitors to engage in cooperative harmony with nature and each other while experiencing both our deep interconnectedness and our personal paths to purpose and wholeness.

The Theosophical Society is a worldwide organization that was founded in 1875. Its mission is to encourage open-minded inquiry into religion, philosophy, science, and the arts in order to understand the wisdom of the ages, respect the unity of all life, and support spiritual self-transformation. As a Theosophical Center, Indralaya welcomes the participation of people of all religions, beliefs, races, genders, orientations, ages, and abilities.
